What is that - a barrier against a flood? An "interrupted" project (I have a few of my own)? Yes, tells a story - but which story?

Oh, that is a neighbor's house and I counted 50 bags of leaves. I thought it was a story about how, you know, they tell us we don't need to bag leaves (in our neighborhood publication) because the leaves are good mulch and are like fertilizer sort of, and yet....I thought it was a story about compulsion and trying to control Nature (dead leaves...lots of things die, but we want it neat, we want to bag up that process, o.k., a little metaphorical). My leaves are just blown onto other people's property, I believe. I guess that story is about something, too.

Hmmm, I have a few bags of leaves in front of my house right now, and this is making me rethink it all. :-)
